I have been playing with my new toy!! Yes, a laminator! In terms of toys, it's a favorite among teachers today!
You can see in the pics that I've been busy, and I keep thinking of new items to laminate. Oh no.....How will I get caught up on things? Some way, it'll all come together. In the meantime, I'm laminating! Just know this....it is addicting. (This is your warning!)
These are some of my literary elements I have in my store... I printed them on colored paper! I <3 how these are working out in my room! |
Love these character trait word cards by Rachel Lynette! |

Ohhh I'd love a laminator!! I create a lot of my own little posters and mini anchor charts. I'd laminate them all so that they will last from year to year.
ReplyDeleteI would love a laminator in my classroom! I can just imagine all the uses for it! I would laminate all of my posters and bulletin board materials so that they would be used for several years! It would be so handy to be able to reuse materials - keeping it green!
ReplyDeleteI would laminate all the posters I hang around the room, task cards, and even some student work.
ReplyDeleteI'd love a laminator for my classroom! I would use it to laminate all those awesome last-minute center ideas when there's no time to go through the process of requesting lamination services from the school office!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a "personal" laminator for all the small pieces to math and literacy learning stations! I could copy, cut and laminate, and have them ready to go! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that you can take the smaller things home with you to laminate when you have extra time at home!
ReplyDeleteMy Center Games! :)

I've been wanting a laminator. I like the size of the MyBinder. I think I would start to laminate everything too. :-)

ReplyDeleteIt would be awesome to be able to laminate conversation cards instead of only being able to print them on cardstock. Nice and sturdy!!
ReplyDeleteMy school has been out of lamination since before school started, so a home laminator is a must!
ReplyDeleteJennifer @ Herding Kats In Kindergarten
I use the schools laminator frequently. In teaching students with special needs, the students need repeated practice and laminated items allow me to do that. Laminated items also allow for cleaning and disinfecting :) I would love to get that laminator!
ReplyDeleteI'd love a laminator for my classroom. We don't have a laminator at school and I could really use one to laminate center activities !
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway! We don't have a laminator at our school. This would also be handy at home. Thanks so much for doing this giveaway!
ReplyDeleteHaving my own personal laminator would be perfect! I can't tell you how many times I've created something for my lesson over the weekend (last minute) and then have to wait unitl WEDNESDAY to have it laminated, only to finally get it on Thursday! What's the point? (I guess I'll at least have it for next year!) With this, I could laminate anything on my own, whenever I want!
ReplyDeleteI laminate everything that will fit that can be reused (task cards, center games, student teaching activities) and my laminator is on its last legs! So I would definitely use it for...um...everything :)

I would love my own personal laminator! I purchase a lot of wonderful things from TPT and TN and I laminate everything so I can use it over again the next year! Having my own would save me lots of time and money! Thank you so much for this awesome giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this! I laminate a LOT in my classroom! Mostly I use my own little laminator because the one at school is flimsy, but mine is not big enough for a lot of what I need to do. I would love a 12" one!

I have been thinking about getting my own laminator. The one at school is broken and I don't know when or if we will get a new one.

Thinking Out Loud
I laminate a lot for my classroom. I am constantly downloading ideas from all the wonderful teachers out there and purchasing many from tpt. I need a laminator to help get the job done. I want the activities and games to be user friendly and not get ruined so easily. Thank you for the chance to win one.
ReplyDeleteI used up all of the ink in my printer to print inspirational sayings/pictures in Spanish. I really need to laminate them in order to create a bulletin board for my classroom.
ReplyDeleteI just implemented a fake-money reward system in my classroom and would LOVE to laminate the dollars I printed to make them last longer... the kids will be handing them back in weekly using a simulated bank visit, to help them practice that practical life skill. I'd also love to redo some decorative elements in my room in the evenings and weekends (we don't have access to my school to come & go as we please, and there are only so many hours in the day, right?) so this way I could do more than just marking and prep at home, but a little redecorating as well. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'd also love to help out a colleague who is struggling with the timetable I had last year by helping her to prepare some centres and hands-on activities which might help the students to be more engaged!

As a kindergarten teacher, I laminate everything- It's almost safe to say that I laminate daily. I create most of my math centers and need to preserve them. Having a laminator would mean I wouldn't have to get to school so early each morning to laminate. I could laminate all my items at home.

I love its compact size! Thanks so much, Ann Marie, for a fabulous giveaway & to MyBinding for donating it. I would use it for laminating bookmarks for teachers & students and to laminate my students' work throughout the year. I love posting it and preserving it for them. Thanks, again!
ReplyDeleteWhata great giveaway! I'd love to give this laminator to my daugter, who is just beginning to homeschool. Got to make those goodies last through all three grandchildren... maybe more! :)

I would use this to laminate so many projects and items that my daughter/student can then use a dry eraser on. I also have a card chart that I would like to have things laminated to use on it. So many things to laminate!!!!!! Oh I hope I wiiiiiiiiiin! :P
ReplyDeleteI would use this is my classroom to laminate everything! I would laminate my Common Core Standards for display, student bookmarks, projects, posters, signs, etc.
ReplyDeleteThis is the BEST giveaway opportunity!!!!!! We have a laminator at school, but we have to pay to use it, so I spend quite a bit. I recently switched from teaching 2nd grade to 5th, so I am buying tons and things off of Teachers Pay Teachers (games and such) and then laminating them so that they last. This would save me a lot of money and make it so much more convenient! Thank you SOOOO much for doing this giveaway (and thanks to the sponsors for the opportunity!)

i would use it to laminate posters and center activities.
ReplyDeleteI have vocabulary cards I'd like to laminate in addition to some division center activities. Thanks for a great giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteFirst off I would like to say Thank You, for such a great oppurtunity as a chance to win this laminator. I just started an in home day care call Babies Don't Keep Child Center and this would be perfect for my center. I would use it for different projects for the childrens work that they have done and I could also use it to laminate different projects so they could be used more than one time and not have to use so much paper. I am really trying to reuse stuff so the children can see how to recycle stuff and reuse stuff more than one time. That also shows them how to save so we can use our funds in other areas. This would be an AMAZING addition to our new daycare.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win a laminator for my classroom! First off, I would laminate my math word wall words that I created. I would then laminate any posters or centers that I need for my upcoming lessons. The possibilities are endless!
ReplyDeletePatti :)
A Series of 3rd Grade Events
I am not a teacher but would use this for our scouts troop
ReplyDeleteI would TOTALLY love a laminator for my room! There are so many things I could do with this...especially all of the things that I could laminate quickly....like spelling and vocabulary cards. I think what would be really awesome is to have a classroom laminator where my students could laminate some of their work and create a fabulous scrapbook with all of their memories and shining moments from the school year!!!
ReplyDeleteYay! A new laminator would be amazing! I've been eyeing this one from My Binding and would absolutely love to win! :)

Every laminator in our district is completely broke and they have NO intentions of fixing them. :( I didn't realize how out of money our district really is... Anyways, I would laminate all my monthly centers and intervention activities. I would also laminate things for my focus wall. It's so nice to be able to keep things from year to year without them being ripped to shreds! :) Gosh, I hope I win! :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love a laminator to protect and preserve everything I make
